Michael Keane is the Chief Administrative Officer of P.F. Chang’s Bistro, a leader in the restaurant industry. In this capacity, he is accountable for the HR, Operations Services, and Off-Premises Dining teams. Mr. Keane joined the organization in July 2015 as its Chief Human Resource Officer.
Mr. Keane’s HR career spans over 25 years, with experience in a variety of consumer industries. Prior to joining PF Chang’s, Mr. Keane spent 14 years leading HR teams in the specialty retail world, including Express, Tween Brands, and Victoria’s Secret. In addition to HR, Mr. Keane at various times had accountability for Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Procurement, and Legal functions. Mr. Keane has also worked in the consumer durables and consumer packaged goods industries, where he has conceived and delivered strategies for most all aspects of a company’s human capital strategy. He began in human resource and marketing roles for Whirlpool Corporation. In 1995, Mr. Keane became Director, Associate Development at Borden Foods, where he developed and implemented the company’s approach to change management, business process redesign, performance management, and compensation. In 2000, he went to the retail industry, with Limited Brands.
Mr. Keane received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Indiana University. He has had articles and chapters published in a variety of publications, and he has spoken at numerous conferences about change management and business process redesign. He is a Managing Partner of The Sierra Institute.
